Innovative Percussion TS-PR Paul Rennick Signature Marching Tenor Sticks feature very large 'Taj Mahal' beads that really dig into the head to produce a dark sound. The edge on the bead helps keep things nice and articulate.

If your tenor line flips their sticks, they can use the latex-sleeved butt ends to create a warmer, blended timbre. The sleeves also help maintain the appropriate balance and rebound to keep the sticks rebounding nicely.

Made of strong white hickory, these sticks can take a licking and keep on ticking.

    • Here’s where your summary shows up. You can talk about things you like about it, things you don’t, what your expectations were, what you had heard from other people, or whatever you’d like! Hitting the return button after a sentence a couple of times will move your text down to the next line like this, so you can make paragraphs that are easier for people to read. • Great feel when you have a good pair, but short life span is a bummer

    • This model produces a warm, full sound on the drums, and are designed brilliantly, but durability and consistency are big issues. The oversize bead starts chipping away with each rim accidentally hit. If you don't hit rims, great! For the 99% of us that do, this bead becomes messy, chipped, and roughed up after just a few weeks. By then, you need a new pair, since the feel, rebound, and sound quality are all affected from a deteriorated bead. The other issue is the consistency pair to pair. I always check for pitch and weight matching if I'm in the store, and encourage my students to do the same, but sometimes it is just hard to find a really good pair together. Ordering in bulk, expect that about 40% won't be ideally pitched or matched. Even when you've found a decent pair, the lifespan of the shoulder isn't phenomenal, and I've found these sticks go dead pretty soon into the chipping process from rimshots if the bead is still usable. For an advanced tenor line that won't scuff up the beads, or one where durability is not a concern, this is a fantastic product, but I would not recommend this model for the average high school line.

    • These sticks feel super good in your hands and are easy to navigate around the drums with. The sound is both crisp and beefy. Only problem is that they're relatively expensive.

    • This stick is a perfect addition to any tenorline on the field. Everything about it sounds and feels fantastic, and they're affordable as well. I recommend picking one or two up, as they are one of the best sticks on the market by far.

    • As long as they make these, I will use these sticks exclusively on tenors. They have amazing feel and balance, and the practice tips are a huge plus.
