Innovative Percussion Shane Gwaltney marching snare drum sticks features a medium taper that flows smoothly into the short barrel-shaped bead without having a collar - a totally unique look. The bead shape gives you a very clear articulation as you march across the field (or gym floor!)

Innovative Percussion marching snare drum sticks are made of hickory, a wood that's strong and dense enough to handle the abuses of a marching season. Keep those sticks lasting longer by taping them up!

    • Huge sticks, heavy sound, reduced shock in hands.

    • These sticks have a ton of mass to them. They produce a wonderfully full sound on the drum and the seamless collar does absorb an interesting deal of shock that would normally go to the hands. Rule of thumb with pitch and weight: High pitch and heavy-perfect for drum because they will last the longest and produce the best sound and rebound. Low pitch and heavy-ideal for chop busting on a practice pad or use in rain. Won’t produce the greatest sound on a drum. Overall, fantastic tools!

    • I personally use this stick for chop building and practice. I must be completely honest, at first I didn't like the weight distribution of this stick at all. It made me work so much harder to keep in control and stay consistent but after awhile it got easier and built up my overall endurance. Now when i use it and change to a lighter stick I use less energy and less effort. definetly worth it in the end.
